About The Position

Join Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health for a job fair on July 9, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Taylor Salem Building, 139 Leopard Rd, Berwyn, PA, 19312. On-the-spot interviews will be conducted. This role involves making a positive impact on the lives of adults served by Devereux, helping them lead meaningful and productive lives. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work with dedicated professionals, receive comprehensive training in crisis prevention/intervention, trauma-informed care, CPR, and first aid, and have access to flexible schedules. Available shifts include full-time, part-time, and on-call, with day shifts (7 am-3 pm), evening shifts (3 pm-11 pm), and weekend shifts. Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Adult Services provides programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The team of over 900 staff works towards the happiness, self-fulfillment, and social integration of each adult. The role requires assisting in daily living activities, including health and hygiene management, cooking, cleaning, recreation, and documentation (shift reports, incident reports, individual progress reports). You will also maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required, diploma's acquired outside of the US must be evaluated
  • One (1) year of human service experience working with children, adolescents, and adults preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess and maintain valid driver's license
