About The Position

Join Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health for a job fair on July 9, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Taylor Salem Building, 139 Leopard Rd, Berwyn PA, 19312. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of adults served by our Adult Services team, helping them lead meaningful and productive lives. As a Direct Support Professional at Devereux, you will work with dedicated professionals passionate about helping individuals in need. We offer opportunities for growth in the Behavioral Healthcare field, comprehensive training in crisis prevention/intervention, trauma-informed care, CPR, and first aid, as well as flexible schedules. Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Adult Services provides programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our dedicated team of over 900 staff works towards the happiness, self-fulfillment, and social integration of each adult in our community. As a direct support professional, you will assist in daily living activities, including health and hygiene management, cooking, cleaning, recreation, and documentation (shift reports, incident reports, individual progress reports). You will maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional, and personal needs of the individuals we serve. Devereux also offers ASCEND, a career accelerator program providing career guidance, coaching, skills, and financial assistance, including tuition and student loan repayment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required, diploma's acquired outside of the US must be evaluated
  • One (1) year of human service experience working with children, adolescents, and adults preferred
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess and maintain valid driver's license
