About The Position

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community. Direct Support Professionals recognize people's rights to direct their life, understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs, and they support people to learn skills for their own growth and development.

Requirements

  • Behavior intervention experience is required
  • Evening and alternate weekend shifts required
  • Availability of morning and occasional night shifts required

Nice To Haves

  • 3-6 Months Work Experience
  • Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field
