About The Position
ABiLITY is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. DSPs play an essential role in helping individuals live safely, independently, and with dignity. No prior experience is required. ABiLITY provides paid training and certifications.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED (or currently enrolled)
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Pass required background screenings
- Dependable and willing to learn
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care and meals
- Support independence and community participation
- Assist with medication administration (training provided)
- Maintain a safe and respectful environment
- Complete required documentation
