Lasting Impressions is seeking compassionate and dependable PRN Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team! As a PRN DSP, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, assisting them in living independently and achieving their personal goals. We’re a close-knit team that believes in creating a warm, welcoming environment for our residents. Our mission is to provide individualized supportive living that feels just like home. We’re not about fancy titles or corporate jargon – we’re about kindness, compassion, and making every day special for those we care for. We are primarily in need of evening and weekend PRNs but encourage all to apply.

Requirements

A heart full of compassion and kindness
A desire to make a difference
Must be 18 years of age or older
have a High School Diploma or GED
be able to successfully pass a background check
have a driver's license and reliable transportation with insurance.
This position requires the transportation of clients.
Must be able to pick up hours on short notice
Availability for evening and/or weekend shifts
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility as needed

Nice To Haves

Experience is great, but we believe in potential and the power of a positive attitude
Previous experience in direct care, healthcare, or a related field is a plus but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for making a difference in the lives of others

Responsibilities

Spend quality time with our residents, getting to know them and their unique stories.
Assist with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming – always with dignity and respect
Be there for emotional support, whether it’s sharing a laugh or offering a comforting hug.
Help residents with their goals, big or small, and celebrate their achievements. This includes daily living activities such as personal care, household chores, and cooking.
Plan and participate in fun activities that bring joy and excitement to our home.
Maintain accurate documentation of services provided to ensure all team members are up to date on care given.
