About The Position
Join Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health! This role involves making a positive impact on the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work with other dedicated professionals to create meaningful and productive lives for the individuals served. You will assist in daily living activities, including health and hygiene management, cooking, cleaning, recreation, and documentation (shift reports, incident reports, individual progress reports). You will also maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional, and personal needs of the individuals served.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required, diploma's acquired outside of the US must be evaluated
- One (1) year of human service experience working with children, adolescents, and adults preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess and maintain valid driver's license
