About The Position

We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Community Habilitation to a man in his 50s in the Jamesville area. He enjoys community activities, spending time with friends, movies, shopping, and bowling. The DSP will support him in exploring new activities, building social connections, and developing positive social skills through community engagement and the support from the DSP. Training, guidance, and ongoing support will be provided by the agency for the DSP. Prior experience is a plus. Candidates must be reliable and punctual.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma, or GED
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility with assignments and schedule
• Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time
• Technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community
• Abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience is a plus
• Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred
