About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities. The role focuses on empowering independence and helping clients reach their full potential. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling options available in various shifts and locations within York, Lancaster County, and surrounding areas. Requirements

One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities (training may be available through apprentice program)
High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
Ability to provide clients with transportation to and from appointments, errands and community outings

Responsibilities

Empowering independence
Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
Provide clients with transportation on errands, appointments and community outings
Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
Participate in community integration activities
