About The Position

InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for a female Individual with Developmental Disabilities in Concord, NC of Cabarrus County. Staff will provide Day Support Services and occasional Respite Services for approx 15-20 hours per week. Must be flexible with schedule as it will change when school starts back up in late August.

Requirements

• High school diploma (or GED)
• Valid driver's license
• Successfully pass a drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruction and assistance in home living environments.
• Help individual identify and acquire valued social roles.
• Facilitate community integration.
• Help individual develop healthy social habits.
• Dispense medication and monitoring dosages.
• Transport and accompany individual to and from day programs, work sites, and community activities.
