About The Position

Creed Medical is hiring passionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role assists clients with daily living activities, promotes independence, and supports them in achieving personal goals. The Direct Support Professional works closely with clients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure quality care and a supportive environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in direct support or caregiving.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid, or willingness to obtain it after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and daily living tasks.
• Encourage and facilitate participation in social, recreational, and community activities.
• Implement and follow individualized support plans to enhance client independence.
• Document care activities accurately and report any changes in client status.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for all clients.
• Collaborate with team members and families to provide comprehensive care.

Benefits

• Respite services pay rate: $15–$17 per hour.
