About The Position
Covenant Case Management Services (CCMS) is dedicated to providing exceptional care for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to create a supportive and safe environment where clients can Thrive with Purpose and receive the quality care they deserve. We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Concord, NC (ZIP 28025). In this role (up to 40 hours per week), you will provide respite care, which can involve assisting with daily living tasks, personal care, and companionship.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance (Required).
- Ability to pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1 year of caregiving or job coaching experience (Preferred).
Responsibilities
- Provide PRN respite support as needed to promote balance and care.
- Collaborate with clients and their families to understand specific needs and preferences.
- Maintain communication with supervisors and team members regarding client care and progress.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
