About The Position
AHRC New York City is seeking Full & Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for multiple residences in Queens. This role involves supporting neurodivergent children and adults with a broad spectrum of services. The company is a family-governed organization committed to social justice and embracing diversity.
Requirements
- Must be willing to work weekends.
- Valid NY or Tri-State drivers license for more than one year, in good standing (required for Full-Time positions).
- Professionalism, integrity, excellent communication skills.
- Patience is a MUST!
Nice To Haves
- Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
- Drivers License NOT Required for Part-time overnight shift.
Responsibilities
- Support neurodivergent children and adults with a broad spectrum of services.
- Work in Full-Time (40hr) or Part-Time (30hr) positions.
- Work various shifts including 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and overnight 11pm-9am.
- Be available to work weekends for most positions.
