About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join the team throughout the Kansas City, MO areas. BAYADA caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to help them reach their full potential. Requirements

• One year experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Spend time on the favorite hobbies and activities of the client
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities
