About The Position

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide guidance and encouragement while building meaningful and supportive relationships with the individuals receiving services. You will advocate for individuals in all aspects of their life, including community engagement and support in essential living skills. You will also be required to maintain documentation, perform record keeping, and participate in periodic meetings and trainings according to regulations and LSS standards.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check
• Ability to successfully pass a background check
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and write in English
• Desire to help individuals with disabilities achieve their personal hopes and dreams
• Maintain 40% FTE or greater (for hiring bonus)
• Remain up to date on all required trainings (for hiring bonus)
• Maintain employment in good standing (for hiring bonus)
• Work all scheduled shifts (for hiring bonus)
