About The Position

Join a compassionate, mission-driven team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), supporting people in reaching personal goals, making choices, and living as independently as possible. The role includes helping with daily activities, promoting community involvement, and maintaining a safe, healthy, and clean environment. Paid training is provided, and prior experience is not required.

The position is available in East Aurora, NY, and surrounding areas, with full-time and part-time shifts available during the day, evening, and overnight. Pay starts at $19.00 per hour and increases to $20 per hour upon successful completion of a six-month probationary period.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license that meets agency policy.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
• Passion for helping others and making a difference.
• Reliability, patience, and compassion.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily living skills, including cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation.
