DSP Independent Contractor in Concord (KW)
About The Position
InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for an adult female Individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Cabarrus County area of Concord, NC. Staff will provide Day Support Services and Respite Services for approx 9 hours a week. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. The pay rate is $22.52/hr and $16.07/hr. This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or GED)
- Valid driver's license
- Successfully pass a drug screen and background check

- One to two years of experience with the I/DD population
Responsibilities
- Instruction and assistance in home living environments.

- Facilitate community integration.
- Help individual develop healthy social habits.
- Dispense medication and monitoring dosages.
