No experience is required—we provide the training and support you need to succeed! The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role assists individuals with daily living activities, personal care needs, community engagement, and skill development while promoting independence, dignity, safety, and choice.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass required background screenings and training requirements
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with mobility needs as required
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

• Experience in caregiving, healthcare, behavioral health, education, social services, customer service, or related fields is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care
• Support personal goals, independence, and life skill development
• Encourage participation in community and social activities
• Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support
• Help with meals, housekeeping, and maintaining a safe environment
• Support medication routines and healthcare appointments as directed
• Complete daily documentation and follow support plans
• Protect the rights, dignity, and well-being of those served while following agency policies
