About The Position
ARISE is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Syracuse area, with a 30-year-old man. He is looking for a dedicated individual to provide him with comfort and support while in the community and at home. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, transporting him out to the community, helping him be comfortable, and helping him be safe. We are looking for an individual who has experience in the field, is reliable, patient, trustworthy, and is not afraid of a wheelchair. Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the agency. Hiring Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Saturday through Sunday 10:00 PM - 7 PM. The hours will be split between 2 people. Pay rate starts at $26. The days and times are flexible.
Requirements
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
