About The Position

Northeast Family Services is seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals to work directly with children, teens, and young adults ages 3–21 with developmental, social, and emotional needs in their homes and communities. Openings are available in the Home-Based Therapeutic Services (HBTS) Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Personal Assistance Services and Supports (PASS) programs. These are part-time positions for 6–20 hours, including after-school, evening, and weekend hours. The role is hourly and pays $16.00–$22.00 per hour, based on program, education, and experience. A stay-on/sign-on bonus of up to $500 is available after 120 days.

Requirements

For HBTS and ABA, be at least 19 years old; for PASS, be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass DCYF, BCI, and driving record clearances.
Valid car insurance and vehicle registration.
One year of supervised experience working with children, or an Associate’s Degree in Human Services or a related field (such as psychology, counseling, child development, education, or nursing), or demonstrated competency working with children with special health care needs as evidenced by the provider agency’s skills validation.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Authorization to work in the U.S.; the employer is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
Access to secured high-speed internet.

Nice To Haves

Experience is preferred, though training may be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities
