About The Position

Northeast Family Services is seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals to work directly with children, teens, and young adults ages 3–21 who have developmental, social, and emotional needs. Work takes place in clients’ homes and communities through Home-Based Therapeutic Services (HBTS), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Personal Assistance Services and Supports (PASS) programs. Part-time positions are available for 6–20 hours per week, including after-school, evening, and weekend hours. The position is hourly and pays $16.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on program, education, and experience. Eligible employees may receive a stay-on/sign-on bonus of up to $500 after 120 days.

Requirements

For HBTS and ABA, be at least 19 years of age; for PASS, be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Pass required clearances, including DCYF, BCI, and driving record checks.
Have valid car insurance and vehicle registration.
Have one year of supervised experience working with children, an Associate’s Degree in Human Services or a related field, or demonstrate competency working with children with special health care needs through the provider agency’s skills validation.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Authorization to work in the U.S.; the employer cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
Access to secured high-speed internet.
