About The Position
Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist a 19-year-old young man on the northside of Syracuse. This is a 1:1 part-time support staff position focused on enhancing independence and quality of life. The DSP will provide hands-on assistance with self-care tasks, personal care when needed, and support with communication and independent living skills goals. The role requires creativity, engagement, activity, and patience. The position is primarily based in the home, with potential for additional hours with other individuals served by the agency.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- At least 18 years old.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule.
- Reliable transportation to arrive at the job site on time.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.

- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities.
