About The Position
Bost is seeking part-time fill-in Direct Support Professionals to work directly with individuals and their families to support and maximize quality of life. The role provides in-home assistance with activities of daily living, including meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care. DSPs also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work and other activities. They support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff. Workdays and hours vary. Pay is $13.50 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
- Pass a background check, reference check, and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home assistance with activities of daily living, including meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care.
- Accompany individuals on community outings to facilitate community involvement.
- Provide transportation to work or other activities.
- Support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff.
