About The Position

Wall Residences is seeking part-time, experienced Direct Support Professionals to provide Supported Living and In-Home Care services in the Williamsburg, Virginia area. The role supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community settings and at home. DSPs assist with domestic tasks, personal care, transportation, advocacy, and medication administration, while helping individuals pursue volunteer opportunities and enrich their lives. Candidates must keep accurate notes to support continuity of quality care. Hiring is dependent on references and a criminal background check free of barrier crimes. Employees are mandated reporters of abuse and neglect involving individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

• Experienced Direct Support Professional.
• Detail-oriented and able to keep accurate notes.
• Active driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• No more than 2 moving violations or accidents within the past 3 years.
• No major violations within the past 5 years.
• References and a criminal background check free of barrier crimes are required for hiring.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with laundry, cleaning, meal planning, cooking, and organizing.
