About The Position

Advancing Opportunities, an affiliate of Apis Services, is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at our Emerson group home supporting individuals with disabilities. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live meaningful, independent lives while ensuring their safety and well-being during daytime hours. Our Mission is to achieve full societal participation for all people with disabilities.

Requirements

Must be 20 years or older
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass state & federal criminal background checks
Ability to pass drug screening
Ability to pass pre-employment physical and PPD
Willingness to complete all required orientation and training

Responsibilities

Assisting and teaching skills related to daily living (cooking, housekeeping, hygiene)
