About The Position

Join Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health for a job fair on June 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Taylor Salem Building, 139 Leopard Rd, Berwyn PA, 19312. On-the-spot interviews will be conducted. This role involves making a positive impact on the lives of adults served by the Adult Services team, helping them lead meaningful and productive lives. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work with dedicated professionals in the Behavioral Healthcare field, receiving comprehensive training in crisis prevention/intervention, trauma-informed care, CPR, and first aid. Flexible schedules are available, including full-time, part-time, and on-call shifts. Available shifts include Days (7am-3pm), Evenings (3pm-11pm), and Weekends (varied shifts). Pay rates for full-time and part-time positions range from $17.25 to $19.67. Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Adult Services provides programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The team of over 900 staff works towards the happiness, self-fulfillment, and social integration of each adult. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities such as health and hygiene management, cooking, cleaning, recreation, and documentation (shift reports, incident reports, individual progress reports). You will also maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional, and personal needs of the individuals served.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required (diplomas acquired outside of the US must be evaluated).
  • One (1) year of human service experience working with children, adolescents, and adults preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
