About The Position

First Resources Corp. is looking for dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Residential Services team in Burlington. In this role, you'll help individuals achieve greater independence, fulfillment, and community connection-all while maintaining a consistent full-time schedule. As a DSP, you aren't just staff-you are a mentor and a champion for our clients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
• The physical ability to assist with client transfers.
• A heart for service and a reliable, professional attitude.
• Satisfactory results on a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily goals like grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, and errands.
• Assist with hygiene, medication administration, and mobility (including two-person transfers and Hoyer lift use).
• Follow and document progress on Person-Centered Service Plans (PCSPs) to help clients reach their personal milestones.
• Transport clients to appointments and local social events.
