About The Position
All Ways Caring HomeCare is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide hands-on care, companionship, and support in a safe, home-like environment. DSPs will help individuals with daily living activities, encourage independence, build meaningful relationships, and make a lasting impact in the community. This role is for individuals who are compassionate, reliable, and seeking a career with purpose.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in a group home, home-like setting
- Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external
Responsibilities
- Performing personal care tasks, including feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring
- Assist with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates
- Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment
- Encouraging self-help activities
- Accompanying clients to scheduled appointments
