And you also know-getting someone safely where they need to go can be just as important as the care you provide. If you are already working as a Direct Support Professional and are a reliable driver, you understand this role goes beyond a checklist. It's about helping individuals with developmental disabilities build confidence, experience their community, and live fuller lives. At Endeavor HCBS, we are expanding in Phoenix and looking for experienced DSPs who are comfortable transporting members and want to be part of a team that truly supports the work they do.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable, insured vehicle
- Comfortable transporting members in the community
- CPR/First Aid & Article 9 certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
Responsibilities
- Safely access their community, appointments, and activities
- Build independence through real-world experiences
- Strengthen communication and social skills
- Gain confidence outside the home
- Reach goals that require more than staying in one place
