About The Position

Wingspan Life Resources seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our In-Home team. In-Home Direct Support Professionals assist clients with developmental and other disabilities who live in their own homes with various needed tasks. The IHDSP is responsible for protecting and promoting the health, safety, and well-being of each client. These positions are not in group homes and do not offer overnight hours.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate, read, and write in English
• Must be comfortable using a computer
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lb
• Ability to complete tasks such as shoveling, mowing, vacuuming, shopping, and pushing a wheelchair.
• The ability to successfully pass a background check as determined by the Department of Human Services
• A valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check
