About The Position

Join BAYADA Home Health Care as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and help empower independence for individuals in your community while building a role you love. We’re hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Lancaster County and surrounding areas! In this rewarding role, you’ll work one-on-one in home and community settings, serving as a trusted companion and mentor to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities—helping them live fuller, more independent lives. Requirements

• One year experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities (If you do not have this experience, training may be available through our apprentice program)
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Ability to provide clients with transportation to and from appointments, errands and community outings

Responsibilities

• Empowering independence
• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
• Provide clients with transportation on errands, appointments and community outings
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities
