About The Position
Grow Developmental Disability Solutions is seeking a Direct Support Worker for Children and/or Adults with Developmental Disabilities. This role involves working one-on-one with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD), supporting their daily routines, community involvement, and personal goals in an engaging, respectful, and empowering manner. Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of caregiving or related experience.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Smartphone required.
- Must be able to successfully pass all state-required background checks and meet all ODDS employment eligibility requirements.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).

- Experience with water play and repetitive play.
- Experience encouraging healthy eating.
Responsibilities
- Support daily routines including cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
- Assist clients in engaging with the community.
- Follow established care plans and goals.
- Communicate effectively with families and the support team.
- Complete necessary notes and documentation.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
- Meal prep and grocery shopping for clients.
- Encourage healthy eating habits.
