About The Position

A Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect. Support safety, dignity, independence, and personal growth. Assist with daily living, mobility, hygiene, housekeeping, and laundry. Provide encouragement and complete required documentation.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport people served; some roles require a personal vehicle and insurance
• Dependable, compassionate, adaptable, and team-oriented
• Basic communication, computer, and documentation skills
• Ability to pass required background clearance

Responsibilities
