The Department for Persons with Disabilities (DPD) is seeking dedicated, caring, and compassionate individuals to work in our Group Homes as Direct Support Professionals/Overnight Residential Counselors (DSP). The DSP is a direct care professional whose primary responsibility is to help meet the personal health, safety, and welfare of the people living in the group home. This role involves assisting and/or supervising individuals in personal care, participating in cleaning, cooking, and life skills development, and administering or assisting with medication. Effective communication with supervisors, co-workers, and residents is essential. The position also requires driving residents to and from programs using agency vehicles, daily documentation of services, and assisting with community-based activities.
