Direct Support Professional (DSP) with Skill Creations, Inc., a nonprofit agency helping people with disabilities meet their personal goals. Due to personal care needs and family preference, support worker must be female. Hours: 6-36 hours available; 20 hr/wk available with one client, 6-16 hr/wk available with second client. Employee could work both schedules or choose one of the two. 30+ hours earns benefits. The DSP is responsible for various duties related to overall support and care for individuals receiving services. We serve individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury, and secondary mental health needs. The DSP works in the individual's home and/or in a community setting, providing care according to the specific needs and goals of the individual.
