About The Position
Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Full-Time - $13.00 - $16.00/hr. First Resources Corp. is looking for dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Residential Services team in Burlington. In this role, you'll help individuals achieve greater independence, fulfillment, and community connection. We've been serving Southeast Iowa since 1987, providing a supportive, mission-driven environment. We are a non-profit dedicated to compassion and respect.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
- The physical ability to assist with client transfers.
- A heart for service and a reliable, professional attitude.
- Satisfactory results on a background check.
Responsibilities
- Assist with grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, and hygiene.
- Help with medication administration and mobility needs (including transfers and Hoyer lift use).
- Work with clients to meet personal goals and integrate into the community.
- Transport clients to appointments and local events.
