Direct Support Professional PRN 8 HR Shift
About The Position
Sevita is hiring a Direct Support Professional to help people grow, learn, and live well. The role involves building meaningful relationships with the individuals served, supporting their participation in the community and favorite activities, and helping them work toward developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. You will also assist with personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. Sevita describes the work as a chance to take initiative and make a meaningful difference, with support from supervisors and access to development tools and training.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Access to a registered vehicle and proof of insurance.
- Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
- Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behaviors.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination.
