Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 months working in one of the following fields: caregiving, special needs, teaching, babysitting, nanny, nursing, or other care related occupations.
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check before we can offer a position with Endeavor.
  • Passion for working with individuals with special needs and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in their lives.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional relevant certifications or training are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to varying needs and situations.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license may be required for some positions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and personalized support to individuals with special needs, assisting them in their daily activities and promoting their independence.
  • Foster a safe and nurturing environment that encourages growth, development, and social interaction.
  • Collaborate with families, care advocates, and healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans and ensure continuity of care.
  • Assist with personal care, medication management, and other activities of daily living as required.
  • Implement therapeutic strategies and behavior management techniques to support individuals with challenging behaviors.
  • Accompany individuals in their community, recreational activities, and appointments, ensuring their engagement and inclusion.
