Wall Residences provides high-quality community services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking full-time and part-time, experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSP's) for Supported Living and In-Home Care services in the Warrenton, VA area. Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends and be available for occasional on-call work as needed.

Requirements

• Experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSP's)
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends
• Available for occasional on-call work as needed
• Detail-oriented
• Active driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience
• No more than 2 moving violations or accidents within past 3 years
• No major violations within past 5 years

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, meal planning, cooking, and organizing.
• Help individuals enrich their own lives through exploring volunteer opportunities.
• Support personal care needs.
• Provide transportation.
• Provide any needed advocacy for medical/dental appointments.
• Assist with medication administration.
• Keep accurate notes to ensure continuity of quality care.
• Act as mandated reporters of abuse and neglect for individuals with disabilities.
