Direct Support Professional - Supported Living
About The Position
Wall Residences provides high-quality community services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking part-time, experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSP's) for Supported Living and In-Home Care services in the Williamsburg, Virginia area. Our In-Home and Supported Living Care DSP's assist individuals with domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, meal planning, cooking, and organizing. Help individuals enrich their own lives through exploring volunteer opportunities, support personal care needs, providing transportation and any needed advocacy for medical/dental appointments, and assisting with medication administration. Successful candidates are detail-oriented and able keep accurate notes to ensure continuity of quality care. Requirements
- Part-time availability
- Experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
- Active driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Minimum of 3 years of driving experience
- No more than 2 moving violations or accidents within past 3 years
- No major violations within past 5 years
- References check
- Criminal background check free of barrier crimes
