About The Position
Wall Residences provides high-quality community services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking a part-time, experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Supported Living and In-Home Care services in the Richmond, Virginia area. Hours would be 10a-2p on Monday and Friday; 6p-9p Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Opportunity to transition to full-time as well.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented
- Active driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Minimum of 3 years of driving experience
- No more than 2 moving violations or accidents within past 3 years
- No major violations within past 5 years

Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, meal planning, cooking, and organizing.
- Help individuals enrich their own lives through exploring volunteer opportunities.
- Support personal care needs.
- Provide transportation.
- Provide any needed advocacy for medical/dental appointments.
- Assist with medication administration.
- Keep accurate notes to ensure continuity of quality care.
