The Direct Support Professional provides self-care training and assistance in daily living to individuals with developmental disabilities residing in a group respite setting. The Respite Center offers a six-bed home-like atmosphere with trained staff to ensure the best quality of care for individuals with disabilities. Individual stays run Thursday-Sunday where they will receive meals, activities, and trips within the community. Direct Support Professionals are the trained staff who provide 24-hour supervision, care, and guidance to residents. They assist with personal care needs, cleaning, cooking, medications, and activities.
