About The Position
Indera is seeking compassionate, energetic and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work with a friendly individual in the Fulton area. He enjoys spending time outdoors especially magnet fishing and playing Pokémon Go.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility with assignments and scheduling
- Ability to use technology and mobile apps in the community
- Background check
- Fingerprinting
- DMV record check (conducted prior to hire)
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred, not required)
- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation out in the community activities and appointments
- Support independent living skills
- Ensure health and safety needs are met
- Engage in recreational and social activities in the community
- Maintain consistency with scheduled days and hours
