About The Position

This individual is a strong willed, honest, and social man who is looking for experienced DSPs to assist him in his home and community. He lives in his own apartment in Baldwinsville. This individual hopes that his DSP will help him maintain his independence by teaching him cooking, cleaning and how to maintain his apartment. He would also like his staff to help him pursue his hobbies and interests. He enjoys gardening, fishing, playing the harmonica, swimming and hiking. Applicants must be okay with large breed dogs as the individual owns a large dog.

Requirements

• Must have a valid drivers license
• Effective communication and organizational skills required
• Flexibility with assignments and schedule required
• Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time
• Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred
