Direct Support Professional - Independent Contractor (AD)
About The Position
InReach is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) as an Independent Contractor to provide community living and support, day supports, and community networking services for a male individual with developmental disabilities in the Charlotte area (28269). This role involves providing companionship, care, and support to help the individual identify and acquire valued social roles, facilitate community integration, and develop healthy social habits. The DSP will also be responsible for dispensing medication and monitoring dosages, as well as transporting and accompanying the individual to various activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- Successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must be an Independent Contractor.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience with the I/DD population.
Responsibilities
