Direct Support Professional - Independent Contractor (NB)
About The Position
InReach is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) as Independent Contractors to provide companionship, care, and support to an adult male with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in the Charlotte area (28227). This role involves providing Community Networking Services for 14 hours per week, with flexible scheduling. The DSP will assist the individual in their home living environment, help them identify and acquire valued social roles, facilitate community integration, and support the development of healthy social habits. Responsibilities also include dispensing medication and monitoring dosages, as well as transporting and accompanying the individual to various activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or GED)
- Valid driver's license
- Successfully pass a drug screen and background check
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience with the I/DD population
Responsibilities
