Direct Support Professional - Independent Contractor (NB)
About The Position
InReach is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide companionship, care, and support to adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. This specific role is for an Independent Contractor to support a male individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Charlotte area (28227). The DSP will provide Community Networking Services for 14 hours a week, assisting the individual in identifying and acquiring valued social roles, facilitating community integration, and developing healthy social habits. Responsibilities also include instruction and assistance in home living environments, dispensing medication and monitoring dosages, and transporting the individual to various activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or GED)
- Valid driver's license
- Successfully pass a drug screen and background check
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience with the I/DD population
Responsibilities
