At Omega Day Centers, our Direct Support Professionals help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities build independence, confidence, life skills, and meaningful connections within their communities. As a DSP, you’ll support individuals in reaching personal goals, learning new skills, participating in their communities, and creating meaningful everyday experiences. If you’re patient, dependable, compassionate, and enjoy helping others succeed, we’d love to meet you.

Requirements

A relevant work or life experience supporting individuals with disabilities.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable transportation with current insurance.
Ability to travel within the community.
Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screenings.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Support individuals with daily living, personal care, and life skills.
Encourage independence, choice, confidence, and personal goals.
Support community outings, recreational activities, volunteer opportunities, and social experiences.
Help individuals explore interests, develop skills, and reach milestones.
Communicate with families, caregivers, supervisors, and support teams.
Follow individualized service plans and complete required documentation.
Help maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment.
