About The Position

Redwood Family Care Network is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP I) to support adults with developmental disabilities in Covina, CA. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living, personal care, and community participation to help them live as independently, safely, and joyfully as possible. Requirements

• DSP Year 1 Certifications (per Title 17)
• First Aid / CPR
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification - we can provide
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings, including background check

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement daily routines per the Individual Program Plan (IPP)
• Assist with bathroom needs and personal hygiene
• Change undergarments or clothing when necessary
• Prepare meals and assist with cleanup
• Provide safe transportation in company vehicles as needed
• Support health, safety, and well-being at all times
• Advocate for individuals and promote their independence and quality of life.
