About The Position

We are seeking a Full Time Personal Supports (DSP) to provide hands-on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities providing assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning. Support a young man in the Parkville area with activities at home and in the community. Work on skills to increase independence at home and in the community. Staff should be patient, respectful, trustworthy, and able to encourage and participate in living a fun and fulfilling life.

Requirements

• High school degree/GED
• Current driver’s license with less than three points on the driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
• Assist with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
