About The Position

Rockwell Care Services is hiring compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). In this role, you'll help adults with disabilities live more independent, fulfilling lives while working just two days per week. This is a rewarding weekend job where you can make a real difference while earning extra income.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient
• Minimum 6 months paid caregiving experience or 1 year unpaid caregiving experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with daily living activities
• Preparing meals and light housekeeping
• Providing medication reminders
• Running errands and transporting clients as needed
• Participating in recreational activities, games, and community outings
• Supporting personal care needs
• Teaching and encouraging life skills and independence
